Hello Fifth Grade Families!  My name is Krista Pepin, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this school year.  I grew up right here in San Marcos and actually attended Knob Hill Elementary as a student.  I attended San Diego State University and Cal State San Marcos.  I have been teaching in the San Marcos Unified School District since 2008. During those years, I taught Reading Intervention, third grade, and fifth grade.  I currently live in San Marcos with my husband and two children (Zaylee- 7 years old and Luke-5 years old).  My family and I love to spend time at the beach, travel, and enjoy the outdoors. You might also see me on the weekends cheering for my kids at their soccer and baseball games.
